In 2011, the leadership team of Catherine Girves, Lorrie McAllister, Dickie Selfe, and Amy Youngs began a grant-supported community-media project, Community Future-Casting (CFC), meant to create change in the neighborhoods around The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. This introduction aims to give the reader an overview of the project, its theoretical framework, and reflections of project participants.
