Americans are becoming increasingly mobile. As it becomes common to frequently relocate for work, suburbs have sprung up to accommodate transient families (Brooke 2015, 11). More students grow up in communities created for temporary, mobile populations, which as a result are often disconnected from their cultural and physical regions.
